Neil Potnis

Neil Potnis is a Co-Founder and the Editor In Chief of the Texas Design Journal. His roles include overseeing and editing the journal's content, website maintenance, recruitment, networking on campus, and working with Texas ScholarWorks to maintain scholarly preservation. Neil has ideated and implemented design solutions in both academic and corporate settings such as Design for America UT, where he was the former Studio Lead. His work includes consulting with Austin's Mayor Pro-Tem to increase policy engagement, designing IoT security systems as an Interaction Designer at Nokia, and working with Dell Technologies to develop an adaptive workout experience for his Senior Design Project. Moving forward, Neil hopes to apply his broad cross-disciplinary experiences to designing assistive technologies that produce tangible human-centered impacts.
