Ameya Telang

Ameya Telang is a Staff Writer for the Texas Design Journal. He has experience working in a NASA-funded lab as a Research Assistant at the University of North Texas. Here, he researched carbon dioxide sensors for NASA spacesuits and conducted additional experiments using Ultraviolet-visible and Near Infrared Spectrophotometers to gather data. Ameya also co-authored a publication in the American Chemical Society Journal of Analytical Chemistry and worked on solar power-plant designs during an internship this past summer. As a designer, Ameya seeks to use his learned engineering principles to create human-centered solutions.
